EA-500 type rating training

(Can be done at your home base) The course is designed to exceed the minimum standards established by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 61 (Part 61). It is designed to be used by pilots pursuing either single-pilot (EA-500S) or two-pilot (EA-500 with second-in-command required) type ratings. Differences between these two training tracks are identified in the program.

Ground School Courseware Training

Provides to the student’s aircraft configuration, whether it is the best aircraft (pre-ETT), ETT, Avio NG 1.0, or Avio NG 1.5 with FIKI and Autopilot Version 2. The following difference’s training is also provided in separate programs and is available to pilots who receive initial training in a particular aircraft configuration and request differences training in a different configuration:

• EA-500 with ETT Modification
• EA-500 with Avio NG Upgrade
• EA-500 with Avio NG 1.5 Upgrades and FIKI approval
• EA-500 Avio NG 2.0 Upgrades (And higher)
• EA-550

Training Program Approval

This program meets or exceeds the minimum FAA regulatory requirements under Part 61 and the relevant guidelines in AC 61-137. FAA approval allows pilots to adhere to the Flight Crew Training provisions contained in Eclipse 500 AFM Section 2. This program also complies with the recommendations contained in the Flight Standardization Board report. It is an FAA APPROVED INITIAL TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THE ECLIPSE JET.
